Mars Bar Cake
3 Mars Bars
3 1/2 oz margarine
3oz Rice Krispies
Chocolate for top (150g or 12 pieces of Scotbloc Plain)
Melt the Mars Bars and the margarine in a pan.
Pour onto the Rice Krispies.
Press into a greased Swiss roll tin.
When cool cover with melted chocolate.
When the chocolate has set cut into pieces.
Chicken Fajitas (for 4 )
1lb chicken breast (cut into strips)
1 sachet Fajita seasoning mix:-
(chilli, onion, sugar, garlic, mustard, oregano, lime,
lemon, nutmeg, cinnamon)
1 large onion, chopped
1 green/red pepper sliced
Sprinkle mix over chicken, mix until evenly coated.
Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a heavy based frying pan
Add the onion and peppers and cook over high heat for
approx. 5 minutes until brown, remove from pan with
slotted spoon.
Heat remaining tbsp. oil. Add chicken and fry for approx.
5 minutes until meat is cooked and browned.
Add onions and peppers and quickly fry (for approx. 5
minutes) until heated thoroughly.
Serve immediately with flour tortillas (warmed),sour cream,
salad and guacamole.
Potato Pie
12 potatoes
1/2 cup grated cheese
3 tbsp. onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp. chopped parsley (fresh)
1 egg (beaten)
4 tbsp. mayonnaise
Mix together put in pie dish or flan dish
Bake for 1/2 hour at 200ºC
