The band has first been assembled in 1971. Tom Hamilton and Joe Perry first joined Joey Kramer creating the band, which would become Aerosmith. Steven Tyler came from New York and Brad Whitferd enlisted at a later day.

Steven Tyler was born in New York City on March 26th, 1948. His family name Tallarico that turned into Tyler in American shows his Italian roots. He learned the first rudiments of music playing the piano under the guide of his father and grandfather He didn't accept the strict school environment and he was expelled from the college. He grew up in the streets of the City and his life could be summoned up with three words "sex, drugs and rock'n roll". In the headquarter Yonkers he spent lots of his nights and here he happened to meet Joe Perry, who was to become the band guitarist. The group was ready to start up!

The famous sound track of the film…
…the longest awaited in the world, with

(Bruce Willis)

The Shuttle Atlantis disapears misteriousualy in the space and at the same time a huge asteroid as big as texas is discovered. It runs toward the earth at a terrific speed of 35,000 km. Per hour. The impact on our planet would result in the end of the human world. The NASA has only eighteen days to organise a rescue expedition by sending a group of men to destroy the asteroid. Harry S. Stamper (Bruce Willis), the most expert at oil drilling in the world, is appointed head of the expedition. With his team he has to lend on the asteroid, to perforate it and to set a nuclear bomb inside the well. The movie has been produced with the collaboration of the real NASA.

…and the song…

A FEW HINTS ABOUT "I DON'T WANT TO MISS A THING"

Steven Tyler says: "Diane Worren has been able to write a song better than ours…" just a few people know the truth… it isn't ours!!! The first time I listened to that song I was in a local in Los Angeles at the "Marquee", Diane sang it for me, just with the piano… it shoked me, it was difficult not to cry… I think it's in credible that a love song like that had marked the most important part of Liv's life –my daughter-.

If I think of the sucess of this collaboration between Aeromith and Diane Worren… I realise one more time that we do not need 25 years of career "on the road" to write a good song like this, the only thing you need is the passion you can find inside your heart. It's not simple to explain what you can feel when you listen to " I don't want to miss a thing because the feelings you may perceive are simply unique". The love song has been the longest hit among the singles and the famoust sound track after "My heart will go on" by Celin Dion.
