The amount of places for people to go in Malpas is fairly limited. This is because of the fact that to go anywhere at night you have to have your own mode of transport.
During the day it is not too bad, there are buses going from Malpas to Chester. Chester is a city in Cheshire, it is the closest one to Malpas and so this is where most people go to shop or to meet friends.

On Friday nights people including myself and my friends go to a pub in Malpas called The Crown. The Crown is not very big and so creates an atmosphere that larger pubs can not create, people get much closer together and so can communicate with a lot of different people without moving. Here people mainly drink and generally socialise with others. Sometimes plans are made for the next night and they usually include a party because somebody's parents are away or going to a night club. I do not like dance music and so go to a place called The Tivoli, this is a heavy metal club on a Saturday and so I go there. The Tivoli also has other nights such as a live band night on a Thursday and a student night on a Monday.

The Tivoli does not look very big from the outside but when you go inside it goes quite far back. In it there are two bars, one huge moshing area and an arcade. It is a very nice place for people like me as they do not like dance music either and so I am with people who share the same tastes as me. This is a typical weekend for me, my girlfriend and my friends. After we have been to The Tivoli we go to a friends flat and sleep over there.
