CHARLOTTE ALLA MILANESE

Ingredients for 6 people:
  • Apples (1000 g)
  • French stale bread
  • Sugar (180 g)
  • Butter (60 g)
  • White wine (1/2 glass)
  • Lemon peel (to 1 lemon)
  • Raisins (40 g)
  • Candies (60 g)
  • Rum (25 millilitres)

EXECUTION:

  • You peel the apples and cut them into segments
  • Then cook them with half of the sugar and add the lemon and white wine.
  • Add the raisins and the candies
  • Knea the sugar with the butter and grease one of the tins
  • Line the tin with seices of bread, fill in with apples and cover with the rest of the seices of bread
  • Spread the rest of the mixture with sugar and butter
  • Put in the hot oven at (170° c) and cook for about 40 minutes
  • Take out of the oven, sprinkle with the rum and serve hot.
