Natural parksIn Italy we have many Natural Parks, that are areas where the time has stopped. They were created to safeguard important lands for flora, fauna and to preserve the beauties of the landscape. In these parks there are laws that regulate the human behaviour and their interventions. Infact here hunting is forbidden, people can walk only along the paths and can’t pick flowers. Moreover the animals are free, and men must respect them: they can live freely and safely, following their natural habits. In these parks there are rangers that control the respect of the laws and inform visitors about the kind of vegetables and flowers they can see in that park, the habits of each animal species, etc.
The oldest and most famous park in Italy is Gran Paradiso Park, situated in the western Alps. It is important for the preservetion of steinbocks and more various vegetable kinds. Then, there is Natural Park of Stelvio, that is the biggest one. It is situated in the central Alps; it is rich of woods, glaciers and waters, and here groups of deers, steinbocks and chamoises are living . It has the same characteristics about environment and big fauna of Gran Paradiso. Then there are other parks, as Natural Park of Abruzzo, in the central Appennines, where the last group of brown bears live, Natural Park of Circeo and Natural Park of Pollino, in the southern Italy, etc. These place are very important because men can’t build, and therefore they are virgin compared with technology and industrialization. I love it because there is always peace and there isn’t the mad fit of the city, but there is the quiet and the silence of the nature.
