 Articolo 31Their first album achieved the 60.000 copies, in the course of the time, on the noteworthy cipher of 90.000 copies. A fulminant preamble! After "Strade di Città", it was the time of "Messa di Vespiri", synthesis of Message, Entertainment and Spirituality. The album sold 150.000 copies early, certifying Articolo 31 like most solid reality of the Italian Hip hop. Most important average perceived of them and shortly they were guests in the most important show as testimony of phenomenon in ascent. A short tour, that touched Switzerland with a great success also by the good critics from experts, increased the affection for Articolo 31. The tour concluded with the victory of the "Disk for the Summer", on most prestigious broadcasts summer, tied to a polling with the attendance of the televiewers. The album "Così com’è", the first with the BMG Ricordi, represented for the group and for the Italian musical scene an important achieved product : not only because of they achieved the threshold of the 600.000 copies sold, but the acceptance from part of the audience considered them a phenomenon. 
After having conquered the most important prizes on the Italian record industry, from the "Festivalbar" – in front of 300.000 people in square of the Plebisciti in Naples – to "the Voice Votes", Articolo 31 made two tours during the 1996/1997 season, that were followed by beyond 250.000 persons
The vicissitudes of the life "On the Road" harvests in a video meanwhile "As like we are" presents some of their musical unpublished moments , then "Articolo 31 Live", testimonies those events. "Così Com’è" figured in Switzerland and Germany, it has had flattering critiques, and it has inserted the group to the international audience of the greatest European festivals. 
April 20 1998 Articolo 31 launched "La Fidanzata", the one that advances few weeks "Nessuno", fourth, new album of J. Ax and D. J. Jad.
Built on the unforgettable burden of the first swinger , Natalino Otto "Oh mamma voglio anch’io la fidanzata" it is the confirmation of the eclecticism of Articolo 31, more and more launched to explore new musical frontiers.
In September 1998 Articolo 31 gets the Telegatto as the best group and with "La Fidanzata" two prizes one of them as the best videoclip of the year to the PIM 1999 and to the second edition of Festival of the Musical Movie. Articolo 31 is the only Italian group to have exhibited on "MTV Europe Music Awards 1998" getting a nomination in the category MTV Select Awards 1998. In December of the same year the group got the special prize of the Jury to the fourth edition of the Ciampi Prize in Livorno. In the first months of the 1999 the group legionary from the Italian winter tour has strengthened the own position in Europe and particularly in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The next album, the fifth,will be by the end of autumn 1999.
