The Cross Border Project A project like this has got a lot of benefits. Some are quite obvious such as the linguistic and cultural benefits. However, in order to make this a working project we needed to put up some goals or aims. The newspaper works as a tool to reach those goals.
Project Goals: To encourage European students to develop cross-national links. To compare different cultures. To use cultural differences as a form of educational enrichment and unity. To develop linguistic skills through cross-national communication. To use English as the common language with native language additions. To maximise the use of information technology through the Internet. To facilitate meetings of the participating students. To establish the newspaper as an integral part of the schools' long-term curriculum. To develop student-centred responibility for their newspaper.
